Your Pages, My Notes
If you’ve been sending your poems, essays, or stories into the void — and all you’ve heard back is silence — this is for you.
I don’t just “fix” your writing. I read it with the eyes of an editor and send you back the things no journal will ever tell you:
why your piece might be declined,
how to strengthen your voice and structure,
and which journals or presses are actually most likely to respond to your style.
You’ll also get tailored writing drills and exercises designed to make you a stronger writer — not just this one piece, but your whole practice. The goal is simple: to get your work closer to where you want it to land.
How it Works
Fill in the form below with your details and your writing goals.
Email your work to sophia@pagegalleryjournal.com (required — the form will ask you to confirm this).
I’ll read your piece and send you either:
Page of Notes (£30) → 1 page of feedback + 3 drills.
Feedback Booklet (£75, up to 2000 words/5 poems) → multi-page PDF with editorial notes, 6–8 drills, decline-reasons, and a submission roadmap.
Longer work (2000–6000 words / chapbook sets) → from £120–£150.
Manuscripts (20k+ words) → from £250 upwards (bespoke quote).
Why the 2000-word cut-off? Because that’s where feedback stops being quick margin notes and starts being a deep editorial process. I’d rather give you something thorough and genuinely useful than skim.
Why I Do This
I get asked all the time if I’ll edit manuscripts. And I could — but I’d rather do something better for you. I want to show you how to make your own work sharper, stronger, and more publishable. So instead of me changing your sentences, you’ll leave knowing exactly what’s holding your work back and how to fix it.
This isn’t editing for you. It’s editing with you — so that the next time you submit, you’ll know what you’re doing and why.
